WHY ORGANIC COTTON?
GOTS certified Organic Cotton is great because:

It uses 88% less water and 62% less energy to grow than conventional cotton, due to it been grown in high rainfall areas as opposed to farmers needing to irrigate the land and divert water from the rivers

When you choose organic cotton over conventional cotton you are investing in cleaner air, water conversion, better soil and better livelihoods for the farmers
Like all of us, nothing is perfect:
Organic cotton tends to have a lower yield, meaning you will need a little more land to grow it, this is due it not being genetically modified like conventional cotton.

Organic cotton does require a lot of water to grow, however, so long as it’s GOTS certified it will be grown in high rainfall areas
